FEMALE CYSTITIS : , WRITING THE DOCTORS

Is referred to as cystitis bladder inflammation by a bacterial infection. It is a disease that primarily affects women and is more common in summer. Antibiotics are the best way to fight infection and caring intimate hygiene is the best prevention.
Cystitis is an infection that occurs mostly in women, in fact more than 50% of the female population have suffered cystitis has confessed in the past year . This is because the tube from the bladder to the outside is very small and facilitates entry of the bacteria in the urinary tract. In some cases, the infection may be due to a reaction to a drug or a complication of an underlying illness, however is rare.
In summer this probability of infection is multiplied because there is an increase of sex in public restrooms, sweat and lack of hydration. All these practices are common during the holidays and are a major risk since they alter the regional flora and its defense mechanisms.

Cystitis and sex
While it is true that sex can produce cystitis, that does not mean that this type of infection occurs through sexual, as the bacteria that cause cystitis can not get in intercourse.
Several studies claim that 80% of cases of cystitis are caused by sexual intercourse, and thus witness the "Study on cystitis and cranberry sexual health" by the Institute of Sexual Medicine  and Phytotherapy Research Center, where the 16% of respondents recognized sex as the main cause of your infection. This occurs mostly in women suffering from recurrent or chronic cystitis. In these cases, the symptoms and episodes of cystitis appear after every intercourse, last 2 or 3 days and reappear when you return to sex.

Symptoms and prevention
Cystitis is the most common type of urinary infection. As such it is painful and annoying and can become a serious health problem if the infection reaches the kidneys. The most common symptoms include frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, discomfort in the pelvic area, and even blood in the urine.
Ingesting a minimum of 1.5 liters of fluid a day, urinating every 2-3 hours, rinse the gels intimate areas with PhNeutro, change the wet suit and not use tight clothes in that area are some of the practices that are recommended both to prevent cystitis as to complete the treatment with antibiotics.
